Conference Outline

ESWC 2020 will be a virtual conference from June 2 to 4, 2020.

The virtual conference venue consists of:

• The main hall for keynote talks, the panel and the opening and closing ceremony
• Meeting rooms for each workshop, tutorial and for the PhD symposium
• Breakout rooms for discussions on posters, demos and main track papers

We provide infrastructure for the main hall, the meeting rooms and the breakout rooms. The main hall supports a live video stream. The rooms support video chat.

We provide a global text chat as a basic means of communication.

The tentative schedule is as follows:

• June 2 (Day 1): Opening ceremony + Workshops/Tutorials + PhD Symposium + Keynote
  The opening ceremony takes place in the main hall.
  The workshops take place in meeting rooms.
  The tutorials take place in meeting rooms.
  The PhD symposium takes place in a meeting room.
  The keynote talk takes place in the main hall.
• June 3 (Day 2): Workshops/Tutorials + Keynote
  The workshops take place in meeting rooms.
  The tutorials take place in meeting rooms.
  The keynote talk takes place in the main hall.
• June 4 (Day 3): Poster and demo + Industry session + Panel + Keynote + Closing ceremony
  The keynote talk takes place in the main hall.
  The Industry session will take place in a breakout room.
  Each poster or demo has their own breakout room.
  The panel takes place in the main hall.
  The closing ceremony takes place in the main hall.
